Effective September 1, 2026.
This is a small, independently run art and blog site. Here is the whole picture of what touches your data here.
Contact form
If you use the Contact page, whatever you type in it — your name (if you give one), your email address, and your message — is emailed straight to the site owner. It is not stored in a database here, added to any mailing list, or shared with anyone else. It exists only so your message can be read and replied to.
Advertising
This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits here and other sites, and to measure how those ads perform. You can review and adjust what Google uses for ad personalization, or opt out of personalized ads entirely, at Google Ads Settings. Google's own explanation of this is at How Google uses information from sites that use our services.
Analytics
If site analytics (Google Analytics) is turned on for this site, it may set a cookie to count visits and see which pages get read. No personal profile is built from this beyond what Google Analytics itself collects on Google's end.
Everything else
There are no user accounts to create here, nothing is sold, and nothing else on this site collects personal information. Questions about any of this: matt@mattcarpenterart.com.
